The adventures in babysitting

Yesterday I let the nieces and nephews turn me into a cow. It all started because one of them had cow spot stickers from Chick-fil-a, which were put on my shirt. I thought it'd be funny to complete the "picture" by taking marker to my face. I had a black nose, purple mustache (?), and various other colored assorted smiley faces and whatnot all over the place (I even got a yellow cross as Ab wanted to make sure the world new I was a "holy cow"). It was quite hysterical, really. I washed it off, which of course sent shock and horror through the masses, so I let them draw on me again. Only this time it started at the face and then traveled to the arms and from there the legs. I was covered in black, green, red, purple, pink, blue, etc. I thought it was great so I left it on for the day and went about the regular duties of watching four children. On a side note, I'm pretty sure I scared the other parents when I took the kiddos to the park, but whatever. Gives 'em something to talk about, right?

Anyway, I figured it's just marker so it'll come off pretty easily, right? Ha ha! Wrong. It wouldn't come off in the shower no matter what I did, so I left it. Brother one and girlfriend came over last night to pick up girlfriend's car (I'd had it as she was out of town and brother one needed to do some work on my car) and she suggested using Fast Orange. As in the stuff you use to get grease off your arms and hands after working on a car. I plan on slathering up in the shower to see if it'll work. Oh yeah, I'll be smelling sexy today!

Moral of the story is I probably won't be letting anyone draw on me today, but at the same time I'm really glad I let them do it as they had so much fun. It's worth it to me if all I have to do is "goop up" later in the shower.

Boys Don't Carry Purses!

I recorded Robby and Corrie on camera the other day. I think it's pretty funny, but I'll let you judge for yourself.

A Little Bit of Heaven and a Little Bit of Ah Yeah!

Thursday night, Moose had sister one, brother-in-law, "Uncle" Paul and myself rolling in laughter. He got a small six-string guitar for his birthday and was showing off his skills by strumming it and singing "wa wa wa yo!" It was the funniest thing ever.

Rob was helping me fold laundry the other day by throwing it all at my head. Because the kiddos have this weird habit of wearing my dirty laundry when they come over, I decided to wear their clean laundry. I donned a pair of checkered boxers and a pink sweat band and struck a pose so Rob could take a picture. And then we got in trouble for being too loud. Oops.

And like all good aunts should, I am teaching the kids to make faces when taking pictures (sorry sister one and brother-in-law). I can't help it; it's just fun!
